Long And Voluminous Hair In Seconds: Halo Hair Extensions

What's so great about halo hair extensions? You've probably been hearing a lot about halos, or maybe you're dying to try them out after seeing the samples in the salon. Either way, let me give you the rundown on all you need to know about halos.

Simple and effortless. Not only can you put the halo in yourself without the need of a professional hairstylist, but it only takes seconds and taking the extensions out is even easier! This way, you can flaunt your beautiful extensions when you want volume/length, but also wear your natural hair as too. Do whatever you feel!

About the Hair

Halo hair extensions are made from 100% Remy human hair. The hair is heat-safe up to 360 ̊F. These extensions cause absolutely NO DAMAGE to your natural hair! Unlike other forms of extensions that can promote tugging/tension on natural hair strands, halos are simple, non-damaging, and practically unnoticeable from your natural hair.

The extensions are available in four lengths: 12", 16", 20", and 24". There are 59 color options, including balayage, rooted, and prism colors. The wide variety of options ensures that everyone can have a seamless blend for whatever hair color you want to rock.

Depending on how long your extensions are being worn, halos can last years with the proper care and products. You don't even need to deal with any glue, tape, retouch appointments, clips, beads, pain, etc. This is amazing for you because there are no recurring, costly maintenance fees!

How it's Worn

So how exactly do you put the extensions in if you don't need to go to the salon every time? It's simple!

The miracle wire that attaches across the front of the extensions sits about an inch to three inches behind your hairline. The back of the hair extensions, containing all of the Remy hair, slides down just under the occipital bone. When fitted and applied correctly, the extensions will be snug and comfortable, ensuring no movement of the extensions.  After, you gently pull some of your natural hair out and over the miracle wire to cover/blend your entire halo extension. The weight of your hair lying on top of the halo will keep it secure and in place. When properly applied, the extensions are secure enough to shake your head without the extensions coming off.

Products to Keep Your Extensions Healthy

Hair extensions need product care more so than our natural hair. The reason being hair extensions aren't connected to a scalp that provides easy access to the natural oils our hair uses to stay moisturized and healthy. The solution to keeping the extension hair from over-drying and breakage is adding moisture back in through the use of products!

I have a fantastic extension wash service now available at the salon. So when your extensions first arrive, or when they start to feel icky, come by the salon and we'll do a wash treatment from Brazilian! New extensions are so healthy, shiny and smooth that it doesn't blend so well with our natural hair. This extension wash not only helps with that natural blending, but also removes micro-residue/buildup, detoxifies without stripping color/moisture, includes bond-building technology, dramatically improves hair strength, and helps prevent color washout.

I also have a take-home product set: Brazilian Extensions Shampoo, Conditioner and Ionic Extensions Refresh.

• The shampoo and conditioner removes impurities while infusing green tea, polysaccharides and natural nourishing ingredients. The reason you would want this is because there is no natural nourishment for extensions that can be provided by our scalp, resulting in irreversible damage and breakage to the extensions.

•The Ionic Refresh Spray acts like a shrink wrap with a polymer layer that holds in nourishing ingredients. The spray prevents breakage, excessive shedding, and cuts blow-dry time! Who could say no to those benefits.

Now that you have all the information you need about halos, feel free to stop by the salon and try some on for yourself to see how much your hair will love it.

If you have any questions, don't ever hesitate to ask!
